Does it Help? The Economic, Employment, and Poverty Effects of Raising the Minimum Wage

In recent years, there has been a growing push to raise the minimum wage, as several labor leaders and lawmakers now advocate for more than doubling the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour. The American Action Forum will host an event to examine how raising the minimum wage impacts the economy, employment, and poverty. Former CEO of McDonald’s Ed Rensi will deliver a keynote address, which will be followed with a panel discussion moderated by the Washington Post’s Jim Tankersley.
