In order to reduce drug prices, legislators are increasingly looking to arbitration as a potential solution. Many Americans are most familiar with arbitration in the context of Major League Baseball, but its application to drug pricing is less clear. Join the American Action Forum for a panel discussion examining the potential and pitfalls of current proposals to employ arbitration in drug pricing.

Panelists will consider such questions as:

  • What would such a system mean for patient access?
  • How would it fundamentally change the current system?
  • Would it achieve its desired impact?

Speakers Include
Tom DiLenge, President, Advocacy, Law & Public Policy Division, BIO
Chris Holt, Director of Health Care Policy, American Action Forum
John Rother, President & CEO, National Coalition on Health Care
Andrew Sperling, Director of Legislative Advocacy, National Alliance on Mental Illness
Yusra Murad, Health Reporter, Morning Consult (moderator)
