AAF Analysis Of CRA Repeal Efforts

The American Action Forum released an analysis examining recent efforts to repeal the Congressional Review Act (CRA). AAF analysis determines that the CRA serves as a modest check on outgoing administrations and ensures Congress maintains regulatory oversight. Repealing the CRA would result in a weakening of congressional oversight while simultaneously ceding oversight power to the executive branch.
