AAF Analysis Examines President Trump’s Environmental Policy’s Impacts on Emissions
Today the American Action Forum (AAF) released a new analysis examining the likely climate impacts of President Trump’s environmental policies. The AAF analysis finds that after controlling for economic factors, President Obama’s emissions cuts are not far from what would have occurred naturally without the costly regulations imposed upon Americans. Furthermore, since the economy is already expected to produce more with less emissions, President Trump’s policies, while unlikely to accelerate emissions improvements, may not reverse gains made in emissions reductions.
