AAF Analysis Finds Long-Term FAA Reauthorization Bill Needed For FAA Modernization

Today the American Action Forum (@AAF) released an analysis examining the need for a long-term Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) reauthorization bill. The analysis finds the continued passage of short-term reauthorization bills hinders the FAA’s ability to plan for the future and account for capacity changes. Since 2007 Congress has only passed one long-term FAA reauthorization bill.
