AAF: ATC Privatization Should Be Considered
The American Action Forum (@AAF) released an analysis of the United States’ push to modernize its Air Traffic Control (ATC) system. AAF analysis finds that many countries have reformed their ATC systems, with Canada experiencing great success through ATC privatization, including lower costs and the ability to modernize their technologies at much faster rates. The analysis notes that there is an imminent need to modernize America’s ATC system. Congress should look at what other countries have done as a pathway towards achieving a modernized, efficient system.
