AAF Examines Common Defense Burden Sharing Among U.S. Allies
The American Action Forum (@AAF) released an analysis examining the amount U.S. allies pay to share the burden for common defense. The AAF analysis finds U.S. allies pay billions of dollars per year to support American military bases, sometimes contributing up to half the cost of these facilities. Additionally, the analysis finds that many U.S. allies have plans to increase their overall defense spending.
