AAF Examines Medicare Advantage Cuts by State

The American Action Forum today released new research examining the cumulative Medicare Advantage (MA) cuts in each state since the Affordable Care Act was enacted. The research finds that while MA payments will increase from 2016 to 2017, MA beneficiaries in 2017 will face a benefits reduction of about 20 percent below the level projected for 2017 in the pre-ACA baseline.
