AAF Examines the Rise in College Tuition for States
The American Action Forum (@AAF) released new research examining whether state-level expenditures for higher education impacts college tuition. The research finds that regardless of state expenditures, tuition tends to grow at an average of 3 percent each year. For school years 2010-2016, state funding for higher education increased three percent, while tuition at both two-and four year public colleges also increased 3 percent.
