AAF Finds Over $197 Billion of Regulatory Burdens Implemented in 2015

The American Action Forum (@AAF) released new research today examining all regulations issued last year by the Obama Administration. The AAF research finds 2015 to be the second costliest year under President Obama, with $197 billion in proposed and final regulatory costs including $99 billion in final rule burdens. The AAF research finds that in 2015, the Obama Administration issued $784 million worth of regulations each day the government was open.

This year, the administration could finalize an additional $98 billion in rules before the next president takes office.
