AAF Outlines Reforms To The National Flood Insurance Programs

The American Action Forum (@AAF) today released an analysis of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), as well as reforms to improve the fiscal health of the program. The NFIP will come up for reauthorization in 2017. The AAF Solutions outlined in the analysis include: charging premiums that reflect risk, sharing risk with the private insurance market, and updating program technology.
