AAF Research on Electronic Medical Records
The American Action Forum (@AAF) today released new research examining the costs and benefits of implementing electronic medical record systems, and the challenges of doing so. The research finds that storing patients’ medical records electronically could improve health outcomes while lowering the cost of care. However, the AAF research also found that data breaches of medical records have cost the industry $50.6 billion over the last six years.
