AAF Research Finds Trump’s Paid Family Leave Proposals To Cost Between $182 and $680 Billion
The American Action Forum (@AAF) released new research that examines the costs of Donald Trump’s paid maternal leave and child care proposals. The research finds that the proposals would cost taxpayers between $182.4 billion and $680.1 billion.
“Combining the deduction, rebate, savings accounts, and paid leave program, Mr. Trump’s child care and maternity leave proposals would be quite expensive to implement,” concludes Ben Gitis, AAF’s Director of Labor Market Policy, and Gordon Gray, AAF’s Director of Fiscal Policy.
