Today, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued six tailored orders aimed at drastically accelerating grid interconnection for artificial intelligence (AI) data centers and other large-load energy users, fulfilling a 2025 request from Department of Energy Secretary Chris Wright.
