Financial Services and Housing Provisions in the COVID-19 Response Package
The COVID-19 response package passed last night includes a variety of financial services and housing provisions. In a series of brief analyses, AAF’s Director of Financial Services Policy Thomas Wade outlines and assesses these provisions. Some, such as the extension of the Paycheck Protection Program, promise welcome relief, while others, such as the extension of an eviction moratorium, are half-baked ideas with potentially dangerous consequences, he argues.
