New AAF Analysis of Net Neutrality and the Congressional Review Act
Today the American Action Forum released new analysis by AAF’s Director of Technology and Innovation Policy, Will Rinehart, on the current proposal to reinstate net neutrality regulations through the Congressional Review Act (CRA). The CRA was originally intended to give Congress the ability to veto agency rules that stray too far from legislative intent, but in this case, lawmakers are proposing to use it in exactly the opposite way. This analysis outlines the history of the CRA and congressional intent on net neutrality.
