New #Eakinomics Video Examines Response To Tax Inversions

In a new #Eakinomics video, American Action Forum (@AAF) President Douglas Holtz-Eakin examines three policy responses to tax inversions, and how fixing the tax code is the only way to stop inversions. One policy option calls for contract bans, which Holtz-Eakin says will not stop inversions: “Why would you use a contract ban to solve a tax problem, instead of fixing the tax code? These kinds of proposed solutions do not really solve the problem. Contract bans are not a solution; we need to fix the tax code.”
