Removing Undocumented Immigrants Would Reduce Employment By 4-6.8 million Workers, New AAF Research Finds

The American Action Forum (@AAF) today released new research examining the labor market impact of removing all undocumented immigrants as Donald Trump has proposed. The AAF research finds that private sector employment would fall by 4 million to 6.8 million workers and production would decline by $382 billion and $623 billion. The industries most adversely impacted by this plan include agriculture, construction, and leisure and hospitality.
