Statement From Douglas Holtz-Eakin on the Passing of Fred Malek
American Action Forum founder and Chairman of the Board Fred Malek passed away peacefully Sunday, March 24. The AAF community joins his family in mourning his loss. “Without Fred Malek, there is no American Acton Forum” said AAF President Douglas Holtz-Eakin. “He was a giant of a man, with a giant vision of the impact that AAF could and should have on public policy in the United States.”
AAF is grateful for Fred’s tireless contributions to its mission and will miss the energy and good humor he brought to AAF. Details of services to commemorate his memory will be forthcoming.
