In a new video, American Action Forum (@AAF) takes to task the myths surrounding tax inversions. The video highlights how the outdated tax code, along with the U.S. having the highest corporation tax, encourages companies to invest more overseas. The AAF video reminds viewers that regardless of where a firm is headquartered, they pay U.S. taxes, and in many cases the taxes paid in the U.S. is higher than the rate they pay anywhere else. Lastly, the video stresses how fixing the tax code is the only real solution to encourage more businesses to invest in the U.S.
