The American Action Forum (@AAF) today released an analysis of the Medicaid reforms included in the American Health Care Act of 2017 (AHCA). The analysis finds that compared to projections under current law, per beneficiary spending in 2025 would be:  91.5 percent for children; 88 percent for non-expansion adults; 98.4 percent for the disabled, and 105 percent for the expansion population adults and the elderly. For context, children and adults account for 76.5 percent of all Medicaid enrollees, but only 44.6 percent of Medicaid expenditures. The elderly and disabled account for the remaining 23.5 percent of enrollees but 55.4 percent of spending.
