Highlights of the CBO Budget and Economic Outlook
AAF’s Director of Fiscal Policy Gordon Gray breaks down the key points of the Congressional Budget Office’s Update to the Budget and Economic Outlook: 2019-2029.
Gray notes that the agency’s estimates “Projected budget deficits will grow substantially over the budget window, reaching over $1 trillion in 2020 at a time when CBO forecasts unemployment of 3.7 percent.”
