ICYMI: The Constitutionality of the FHFA and the CFPB
This morning the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on the constitutionality of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and by extension the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA). This case will have enormous ramifications for the future of both agencies as well as the Dodd-Frank financial-reform legislation itself.
