
Thomas Kingsley

Thomas Kingsley is the Director of Financial Services Policy at the American Action Forum.
Biography
Thomas’s work focuses on regulatory and policy developments that impact financial services nationally and internationally. Research topics include Dodd-Frank, global systemically important financial institutions, and all issues that touch on the banking and insurance sectors. Thomas’s portfolio also includes housing reform, and he has written extensively on the need to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Thomas joined the American Action Forum from the private sector, working in financial services management consultancy across Europe and the United States. The majority of his career has been at PricewaterhouseCoopers in London and New York, but he was also previously a senior policy advisor to the Institute of International Finance, specializing in insurance and international regulatory harmonization. Thomas has American, Australian and British citizenships and grew up in South East Asia. He has an MA and a BA in Law from Oxford University, Queen’s College.
